Whether college student, professional, ELL, or anything in between, I am delighted to offer individualized live tutoring work sessions so I can better meet you wherever you are at right now and help you to move closer to where you'd like to be.
This means that no matter where you are on the spectrum of skill level or in the writing process for a specific assignment or project, we can work together on the specific areas and elements that you want to strengthen.
Length
A session can run from 30 to 60 minutes. Keep in mind that shorter focused sessions are sometimes the most helpful for better learning and to reduce the chance of feeling overwhelmed.

About Prof MJ
A longtime writer and college English instructor, I have been teaching writing and literature courses online and in person for colleges and universities across the United States for over 25 years now. I have taught and know well the standard curriculum of undergraduate English courses, including
English composition, American and world literature, creative writing, and business writing.
I have been working with people in college of all ages, ethnicities, skills levels, and needs, supporting people working hard to advance themselves in education and life.

For the best use of time, focusing on one main element usually works best. So, feel free to ask me questions in your message if you're not quite sure which element(s) to begin working on together, and we will settle on one pre-session.
